Girls Hockey at Hyde Park Youth Hockey
The Lady Eagles is Hyde Park Youth Hockey’s dedicated girls-only program, providing female players the opportunity to grow their skills and compete alongside teammates in an empowering and supportive environment.
In addition to playing on our co-ed teams, girls also skate once a week as part of the Lady Eagles program to further develop their skills and connect with other female players.
- The U8 Lady Eagles team competes in the Greater Boston Girls Hockey League (GBGHL), run by the City of Boston. This game-only team plays Saturday morning games at Reilly Memorial Rink.
- Our U10, U12, and U14 Lady Eagles teams proudly represent Hyde Park in the Middlesex Yankee Conference Girls League, competing weekly against other girls’ teams from across the region.
The Lady Eagles program empowers girls to compete, build confidence, and develop a strong hockey foundation—all while fostering lasting friendships and a true team spirit both on and off the ice.
Ages
U8: 7-8
U10: 8-10
U12: 11-12 and skilled 10
U14: 13-14
When
The season begins in September and ends in late March.
Where
Home: Alexander S. Bajko Skating Rink, 75 Turtle Pond Pkwy, Hyde Park, MA 02136
Away: mostly along the 128 corridor, north of the Mass Pike
Practices
The Lady Eagles teams practice together once a week, except for the game-only U8 team, which doesn’t have regular practices.
Games
Games are generally on weekends but may occasionally be played on weeknights.
Jerseys
Jerseys are provided by the program.

Playing on a HPYH Co-Ed VHL team: $350
Not playing on a HPYH Co-Ed VHL team: $850
