Financial Assistance Opportunities
We believe every child should have the opportunity to play hockey—regardless of financial circumstances. If you need help covering the cost of participation, explore the following grant programs available to families in Massachusetts:
💛 Boston Bruins Assistance Fund
Offered through Massachusetts Hockey and the USA Hockey Foundation, this grant provides $250–$750 per player to help cover USA Hockey registration fees.
- Eligibility: Must be registered with USA Hockey and participate through a Massachusetts Hockey–affiliated program like HPYH.
- Note: Award funds are sent directly to Hyde Park Youth Hockey, not to individuals.
💙 All Kids Play Youth Sports Grants
A national nonprofit helping families cover costs like registration, equipment, and travel for K–12 athletes in need.
- Eligibility: Household income must be under 100% or 60% of the Massachusetts state median income.
- Funding: Grants are typically capped at $350 per player per season and are first-come, first-served.
