HPYH Scholarship
Hyde Park Youth Hockey (HPYH) is offering scholarship awards to qualified, graduating high school seniors who have been members of HPYH and will be attending an accredited 2- or 4- Year College, attending an accredited trade/vocational school, attending a preparatory school to further their education after graduation, or enlisting with the U.S. Armed Forces.
Awards may be granted to students graduating from high school this year who have been an active participant on a team with HPYH for a minimum of four years (not including Learn to Skate and Learn to Play) and are in good financial standing with the program. These years need not be consecutive. Applicants who are no longer playing organized hockey or who are not playing with HPYH currently remain eligible to apply. Schools of choice must be accredited as either a 2- or 4-year program, accredited trade/vocational school, or an accredited preparatory school. The scholarship committee seeks a well-rounded student to be a scholarship recipient. Dedicated commitments to schoolwork, the HPYH community, and service to others weigh heavily in award selection.
Award
Hyde Park Youth Hockey will award one (1) recipient with a one-time $500 scholarship.
